How it Works: Explanation for holiday providers

On 50plusholidays, you can easily bring holidays to the attention of a large public. Here we explain how it works.

Making an account

In order to be able to place your holidays on the website, you need an account. You can make your account on-line. Fill out your contact data, and a valid E-mail address. You will receive a confirmation E-mail.

Activating your account

When you make your account you will automatically receive a confirmation E-mail. You should click on the link mentioned in the E-mail in order to be able to activate your account. You will then be logged in immediately.

Log in

Once you have activated your account, you can log in each moment of the day. Choose the link log in for this in the Log in for accommodations menu

Making an advertisement

Once you have logged in, you can make advertisements. Standard your address data are used for making a new advertisement. You can change the address data for the advertisement. You can add a text. You can add max. 6 illustrations. By means of the handy preview-function you can see what the advertisement will look like.

Activating your advertisement

Your new advertisement will not become visible immediately. You should first activate your advertisement. Click on the “Activate advertisement” link. You can choose between three kinds of entries.

Three kinds of entries

You can choose between three kinds of entries:

· Name entry (free)
· Name entry with weblink (Euro 6,00 inclusive of VAT per year)
· Extensive entry (Euro 12,00 inclusive of VAT per year)

The name entry is free. You will receive an invoice for the name entry with weblink and for the extensive entry. Until we have received your payment, the standard name entry will be shown. Upon receipt of the payment the entry will be adapted.

Adding pictures

In order to place pictures, you must first log in and then click on making and managing advertisements. Your advertisements will be shown with a pencil and cross behind them. If you click on the pencil you can change the advertisement. If you choose, at the bottom, to save the advertisement you will go to the next page where you can add the pictures. If the pictures can’t be uploaded and you receive an error message about it, this means that your pictures are too large then. They may not exceed the maximum size.

Adapting entry

You can always extend your entry. Click on “Change your entry” for this. You will receive an invoice for the name entry with weblink and for the extensive entry. Until we have received your payment, your previous entry will be shown. Upon receipt of the payment your entry will be adapted.
Attention: You cannot return to a less extensive entry.

Changing and removing advertisements

You have complete control over your advertisements. You can log in 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, wherever you are. You don’t need any special software.
