Rådastrands Camping

Rådastrands Camping is situated in the middle of the Värmland region. This region is renowned for its beautiful unspoiled nature, folk music festivals and the good climate.

Here you will find a vast area of forest with lakes, rivers and mountains. It is also an eldorado for keen fishing people. This makes it an area in which you not only enjoy the tranquillity and nature, but you can also do a variety of activities like canoeing, cykling and (Nordic)-walking.
Several times a week, you can join a Nordic Walking group (with a certified NordicWalking instructor of Radastrands Camping). You can also do a NordicWalking Clinic and learn about the basics of NW.

In this part of Värmland you can come face to face with an elk and at the right time of year you can see beavers at work right from the camping ground. An expert tracker can also see the tracks of a bears, wolves or lynx...

Because of the central location at the Värmland region it is ideal for making day trips. In the summer months there are a lot of folklore festivals and summer feasts with traditional music and dancing in the neighbourhood. Here you can enjoy the rich culture and the atmosphere of the early day.

The campsite is approximately 10 hectares large. You can come with a tent, caravan or camper: there are always lovely places to find for you. At the moment we have 100 lots of a minimum 100sq. metres a site, 65 lots with power.

We have lovely newcabins for 2, 4, or 6 persons. The 4- and 6-person cabins all have a fridge, hot plates, pots and crockery, there is also linen for hire.
The 2 persons cabins have a comfortable bed-sofas well as a table and chairs. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery over the lake straight from your own veranda.

In the evening you can fry your fresh caught fish at the fire places. You can tell your tales of the day around the campfire in the evenings.
